Terms of Service – Canlah.AI

Welcome to Canlah.AI. By accessing or using our website, app, or services (collectively, the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not use the Service.

1. Use of the Service

You may use Canlah.AI only in accordance with these Terms and all applicable laws. You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service.

You agree not to:

  • Violate any local, state, national, or international law;
  • Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service;
  • Transmit any malicious code, viruses, or harmful data;
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service.

2. User Content

You retain full ownership of any content, information, or data ("User Content") you provide through the Service.

By submitting User Content, you grant Canlah.AI a limited, non-exclusive, revocable license to use, store, and process this content solely for the purpose of operating, improving, and providing our Service to you.

You are solely responsible for the legality, reliability, and appropriateness of your content.

3. Data Collection & Permissions

Canlah.AI collects:

  • User-provided inputs (e.g. text, tasks, uploaded files);
  • Permissioned access to calendars, files, and documents;
  • Behavioral data (e.g. feature usage, click patterns).

Your data is handled as described in our Privacy Policy. We do not sell your data to third parties.

Data obtained from Google Workspace APIs (such as Gmail and Google Calendar) is used solely to provide services to the individual user and is not used to develop, improve, or train generalized AI or machine learning models.

4. Third-Party Services

We may integrate third-party services (e.g. analytics, cloud infrastructure) to provide or improve the Service. These providers are required to protect your data and operate in compliance with applicable laws, including the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA).

5. Intellectual Property

Canlah.AI and all associated intellectual property (e.g. code, brand, content, interface) are the property of Canlah.AI or its licensors. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse engineer any part of the Service without written consent.

6. Modifications to the Service

We may update, suspend, or discontinue features or functionality of the Service at any time. When significant changes are made, we will notify you via email or in-app message, where possible.

7. Termination

You may stop using Canlah.AI at any time.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to the Service at our discretion, especially if you violate these Terms or use the Service in a harmful, abusive, or unlawful manner.

8. Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available." We make no guarantees regarding uptime, accuracy, or availability.

To the fullest extent permitted by California law:

  • We disclaim all warranties, express or implied;
  • We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from your use of the Service.

9. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

Any legal dispute shall be resolved in the courts of San Francisco County, California, unless otherwise required by law.
